Getting started
Do I need a credit card to try it? +
No. The 14-day trial is completely free and does not require a credit card or any payment information. Just create your account with your name and email and you'll have full access to every feature on the platform — workouts, meal plans, assessments, check-ins, templates, and push notifications. At the end of the trial, you choose whether to continue.
How does the free trial work? +
When you create your account, you get 14 days of full access to every Fitney feature — no restrictions. No credit card required. During the trial you can add clients, create workouts, build meal plans, run assessments, and test everything. At the end of the period, you choose a plan to continue or your account is paused automatically.
Can I extend the trial period? +
In some cases, yes. Contact our support team by email or WhatsApp and we'll evaluate the possibility of extending your trial. This is common for professionals who need more time to migrate data or set up the platform.
Does Fitney work on mobile and desktop? +
Yes. The professional (personal trainer or nutritionist) manages everything through the web dashboard on a computer or tablet. Clients and patients access the mobile app (iOS and Android), where they view workouts, meal plans, check-ins, and assessments.
Plans and billing
What payment methods are accepted? +
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PIX, and bank slips for customers in Brazil. For international customers, we accept credit cards via Stripe. Billing can be monthly or yearly — the yearly plan saves you the equivalent of 2 months.
Can I cancel at any time? +
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, directly from the dashboard, with no penalties and no red tape. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period. There is no minimum commitment or fine print. If you ever want to come back, your data will still be saved.
Is there a refund policy? +
Yes. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days after subscribing to a paid plan, you can request a full refund by contacting our support team. After that period, cancellation stops billing at the next cycle, but no prorated refund is provided.
Can the yearly plan be paid in installments? +
Yes, for credit card payments in Brazil, the yearly plan can be paid in installments. Contact support to check available installment options.
Clients and patients
Do my clients or patients pay to use the app? +
No. Only the professional (personal trainer or nutritionist) pays for the platform. Your clients and patients download the app for free, receive your invite by email or link, and access all workouts, meal plans, check-ins, and assessments at no cost. You can add as many clients as you want — there is no limit.
Can clients use the app without internet? +
Workouts and meal plans are available for viewing in the app. Check-ins and data synchronization require an internet connection. Clients can view and follow their prescribed workout, syncing the data when the connection is restored.
How do I invite my clients to the app? +
You can invite clients in three ways: sending an email invite directly from the dashboard, sharing an invite link via WhatsApp or social media, or adding them manually through the client registration screen. The client receives instructions to download the app and access their account automatically.
Can clients get a premium plan in the app? +
Yes. Optionally, clients can subscribe to the premium plan through the app (iOS and Android) to unlock extra features like creating their own workouts and meal plans and accessing unlimited assessments. This is independent of your subscription as a professional.
Workouts and programs
Do the workouts include exercise videos? +
Yes. Fitney has a library of over 1,000 exercises, each with a demonstration video your client can watch directly in the app before and during their workout. You can also add your own execution videos — recorded your way, with your tips and corrections — to further personalize the client experience.
What are templates and how do they help me? +
Templates are reusable models for workouts, meal plans, and running programs that you create once and apply to multiple clients with a single click. For example, you build a "Beginner Hypertrophy Workout" with all the exercises, sets, and loads. When a new client fits that profile, just apply the template and customize as needed. This saves hours of work every week.
What types of periodization are supported? +
Fitney supports mesocycle periodization from 1 to 52 weeks, with 9 training goals (hypertrophy, weight loss, strength, conditioning, definition, rehabilitation, quality of life, and more). You can use splits like ABC, ABCD, Push/Pull/Legs, or any custom split, with 4 difficulty levels (adaptation, beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
Does Fitney support running programs? +
Yes. We have a full running module with 10 session types (easy run, tempo, interval, fartlek, hill repeats, and more), pace control, heart rate zones, and RPE. There are ready-made templates for 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon that you can customize for each client.
Nutrition and meal plans
Does it work for nutritionists too? +
Yes. In addition to workouts, Fitney has a full meal plan module with automatic macro calculations (protein, carbs, and fat), a database of 350+ foods, and the ability to create your own custom foods to build your nutritional library. It includes smart meal substitutions and professional PDF exports.
Can I create my own foods? +
Yes. In addition to the 350+ foods already registered across 14 categories, you can create custom foods with complete nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber). These foods are available only to you and your patients.
Can meal plans be exported as PDF? +
Yes. You can export any meal plan as a professional PDF to send to your patient by email or WhatsApp. The PDF includes all meals, foods, quantities, and calculated macros.
Assessments
What assessment protocols are supported? +
Fitney supports 7 scientific skinfold assessment protocols: Pollock (3-site and 7-site), Jackson-Pollock, Durnin-Womersley, Petroski, Guedes, Yuhasz, and Slaughter. It also automatically calculates body composition (body fat percentage, lean mass, fat mass), BMI, and basal metabolic rate (Harris-Benedict formula).
Are the progress charts generated automatically? +
Yes. Each new assessment automatically generates comparative charts with previous assessments. Both the client and the professional can track the evolution of weight, body fat percentage, circumferences, and body composition over time — all visual and easy to understand.
Team and management
Can I add other professionals to my team? +
Yes. Fitney lets you invite team members with different permission levels: coordinator, secretary, training assistant, nutritionist, financial administrator, and moderator. Each role has restricted access to only the relevant areas, ensuring security and organization.
How does the financial management work? +
Fitney includes integrated financial management so you can handle billing, payments, and invoices for your clients directly on the platform. You can track who is up to date, who has pending payments, and get a complete view of your monthly revenue. Everything in one place, no spreadsheets or external systems needed.
Does Fitney generate business reports? +
Yes. The reports module provides weekly, monthly, or quarterly views with metrics such as total clients, new sign-ups, active programs, completed check-ins, and growth comparisons across periods. Everything you need to make data-driven decisions.
Security and privacy
Are my data and my clients' data secure? +
Yes. Fitney uses encryption on all communications (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are stored with bcrypt hashing, and sensitive files (assessments, health questionnaires, medical documents) are kept in private cloud storage (AWS S3) with restricted access. We follow information security best practices.
Is Fitney compliant with data protection laws? +
Yes. Fitney was built in compliance with data protection regulations including Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law). We collect only necessary data, offer explicit consent, allow data deletion, and maintain a transparent privacy policy. Your data and your clients' data are handled responsibly.
What happens to my data if I cancel? +
Your data remains available for 90 days after cancellation. During that period, you can reactivate your account and everything will be exactly as you left it. After 90 days, data is permanently removed in accordance with our privacy policy. You can request a data export before canceling.
Support
How does support work? +
Fitney support is provided by real people, in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. You can reach us by email or WhatsApp and typically receive a response the same day. Our team helps with questions about the platform, account setup, data migration, and any technical issues that come up.
Do you help with migration from another platform? +
Yes. If you're coming from another platform or using spreadsheets to manage your clients, our team will help with the migration process. We assist with data import, initial setup, and training so you can start using Fitney as quickly as possible.
