Account and Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and personal data from the Fitney platform using one of the methods below:

Method 1 — Through the app

1. Open the Fitney app on your phone
2. Go to Profile → Settings
3. Tap Delete my account
4. Confirm the deletion

Method 2 — By email

1. Send an email to dpo@fitneyapp.com
2. Subject: Account deletion request
3. In the body, provide the email address registered on the platform
4. You will receive a confirmation within 15 business days

Identity verification: To protect your data, we verify your identity before processing the request. If you request via email, we will send a confirmation link to the registered email address. Only after clicking the link will the deletion be processed.

When you request deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Registration data (name, email, phone)
• User profile (photo, preferences, settings)
• Workouts and training programs created
• Meal plans and nutritional data
• Check-ins and progress photos
• Physical assessments and body measurements
• Health questionnaire (anamnesis)
• Notification history
• Achievements and badges
• Social groups and challenges data
• Authentication tokens and sessions

Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion, as required by law:

After the retention period, this data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

• Deletion is irreversible — data cannot be recovered after confirmation
• If you are a Professional (personal trainer or nutritionist), deletion includes all your panel data, created workouts, and client links
• If you are a Client, your data will be removed from the professional's panel who managed you
• Active subscriptions will be automatically canceled before deletion
• The deletion process takes up to 15 business days from the request

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the ANPD (Brazilian Data Protection Authority) or the data protection authority in your country.
